As of April 14, the Fund is no longer accepting applications for summer 2024.
The North Country Camps is a wholesome, diverse community. Compared with other summer camps, it is moderately priced. Still, it’s a lot of money. The Gucker Campership Fund is here to help.
Supported by tax-free contributions from past and present camp families, campers and counselors, the Fund is available for a range of family circumstances and various levels of assistance. Although funding is not guaranteed, inquiries are encouraged and kept strictly confidential.
At Lincoln and Whippoorwill, campers find the freedom to have fun and the opportunity to push themselves. They discover the beauty of the outdoors with a spirit of adventure and sense of wonder. Sitting around the campfire beneath a sky of stars, they laugh, sing and share stories. They spend the summer being kids away from the stress of modern life.
The primary application deadline is February 1, 2024. Funding decisions will be communicated to families approximately one month after the application deadline.
The Fund is no longer taking applications for summer 2024. The application for summer 2025 will be available in late fall 2024.

There is no financial criteria that you need to meet to be considered for funding. If you are considering applying, the Board encourages you to apply. The Board reviews a range of factors and circumstances that inform an applicant's financial picture. We encourage applicants to provide background on their financial situation when applying for funding, as appropriate.
